The Center of Science and Industry makes it easy to spark a child’s imagination with wonderful examples of historic discoveries and lots of hands on activities on every level.

Kelleys Island

Kelleys Island is the largest island in clean and pretty Lake Erie. At one end, there’s lots of shops and restaurants for a nice lunch or dinner. Along the other side of the park, there’s miles of endless beaches where kids can dip their feet in the sand. The waves and sand are warm and soft so it’s just right for even young toddlers. Much of the island is a state park so it’s a good choice for parents on a budget in search of wonderful summer fun. Trails bring kids and adults into the island’s interior for a nature walk.
