Online Trading Academy Adds Innovative Supply and Demand Tool to Digital Offerings

Online Trading Academy, an award-winning worldwide financial education provider, has made substantial improvements to CliK®, its proprietary education and analysis platform, which will help students develop their ability to identify potential price changes for various assets.

OTA’s Mastermind students will now be able to benefit from the Supply and Demand Grid, or “the Grid”.

The Grid has been embedded into CliK, making it efficient for students to visualize and identify areas of supply and demand of different assets. The Grid has historically been a static document updated daily with the latest analysis from instructors.  Now OTA has the ability to push new levels dynamically.

Online Trading Academy encourages students to use the supply and demand levels, provided by instructors as a means to check their own analysis. The ultimate goal for any student is to be able to see trends and potential price pivots.

For the past 23 years, OTA has taught students strategies to invest and trade, by identifying patterns in price charts. The academy uses “footprints” left by banks and institutions when they place large orders which might suggest supply or demand in the markets.

The company identifies as many as 210 of these zones that can appear during the course of a standard day based on three different time frames or trading objectives whether someone is intraday trading, or a long-term value investor.

With the addition of the Grid to CliK, it’s easier to see the zones. The Grid can also automatically plot the zones that each student indicates during their analysis, including any related price-action charts for each zone. Being able to visualize these price levels can help students see quality opportunity when they’re trying to determine their personal trading strategies.

Students attend courses virtually or in person at more than 40 locations worldwide. Some are new to investing and want a solid foundation, while others are active investors or traders.

Online Trading Academy President Mike Richardson believes that the Supply and Demand Grid will be a greater opportunity to present students with a new tool to hone their skills and further develop their knowledge and confidence.

“CliK embeds the essence of our relentless commitment to revolutionary innovation, which is student-centric,” he says. “It encapsulates our rules-based, step-by-step approach and patented tools with a risk-management-first approach.”

Since opening in 1997, Online Training Academy has received a variety of local and national acclaim in many areas, from being named a top workplace in the region to showing innovation in delivering digital education. The company is especially proud that it recently received more than 200,000 student satisfaction reviews. Their experience from post-class exit surveys ranked their OTA experience on a scale of one to five, and of these 149,000 provided five stars.

Online Trading Academy has also regularly been listed as one of the top 50 franchises by Franchise Business Review, including an overall 14th ranking and 3rd in education.
